Vera was placed in Lindsay and Shannon’s arms on Sunday, around 3pm in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Lindsay says that as cute as she is in pictures, she’s even better in real life. We’ve only talked briefly, but they were feeding her, and getting used to a baby! We are all so excited and so happy for Lindsay and Shannon. Welcome to our family sweet Vera. We love you!

I am soooo happy for you both…I have been looking at the pictures over and over and just can’t get over how absolutely beautiful she is, and parenthood looks amazing on you two!!! Love you and can’t wait to see my new little niece this summer!!!
